Food haul

Adriano Zumbos
'What a great pear', it was on masterchef ($9)
this was alright, it looks more beautiful than it was to taste..
click for recipe
Malt & Teaser ($9)
This was amazing, one of those ones you put into your mouth and just start to orgasim from how amazing it tastes..
organic chips!! i got this off lana and stella so i dont know how much it was.
beetroot chips
sweet potato chips, i love these, been trying to find them everywhere!
chocolates from a cute old couple, they had this at the food and wine festival as well so when i saw them i just had to get them!
these were Green tea & Jasmin, dark chocolates by Robyn Rowe Chocolates
and i got some for gilly too (box of 4 was $8, single was $2.30 i think?)
a tiny little teapot for the blooming tea, as well as a very pretty blooming tea! this was from the china town markets. the teapot was 20$ and the little tea was $6 each, but he gave me 2 tea flowers and the teapot for $25
the tea is so expensive..

Macaron time!!
we had a little taste testing at my place last night
these ones were the ones found at both Masterchef and the Guylian cafe
the main supplier is Pattisons Patisserie
This was the raspberry & creme (i think it was $2.50 each?)
it was pretty average..
i got 6 for $15
lavender, rose, salt caramel, lemon&raspberry, coconut and jaffa
these were pretty yummy, very creamy and the flavours were strong as well.
the lemon raspberry one had actual jams in it, so it was really strong, but not in a bad way.
the coconut one was surprisingly really good, i dont enjoy coconut macarons cause they are a bit dry, but this one was really creamy
Adriano Zumbos http://adrianozumbo.com/ ($2.30 each), im not a great fan of their macarons, they seem to disappoint me more than satisfy..
but they are known for their outrageous flavours..
this one had, mandarin, which tasted like the white vains on a mandarin. pear vanilla, blackcurrant, and the rest, i really cant tell the flavours.. but it tastes weird..
http://shocolate.com.au/ (3 skewers, 9 macarons for 18$)
these ones would have to be my favorite..
best flavours and textures..
the green to red was lemongrass, berry yohurt and strawberry i think?
and the chocolate ones were choc-caramal, 70% cocoa and biscuit.
every flavour was amazing.. i loved the berry yohurt.
the guy told us that this was Melbourne's version of Zumbos, but this is much better.
size comparison..
top - Zumbos, left - Pattisons, bottom - Croquembouche, and blue one is from tees cupcakes (i dont know who the supplier is tho)
