it's been 3 days and i have no idea where to start. it took me all day yesterday to upload about 1200 photos onto my facebook, and its going to take me much longer to upload some photos here, not to mention.. blogging about them.. lol.
but here we go,
i'll start off with the places that we went to.
the first place Lana, Jaz Dave n i landed at was Darwin.
After a horrible 4 hour flight in the tiniest plane ever, we landed in Darwin for 2 hours.. we didnt end up going outside the airport but it was already hot walking from the plane to the airport.
at least we can pin our map saying we've been to Darwin.. right? lol
after was Ho Chi Minh City, once known as Saigon. we got there about 10pm vietnam times and the sight out the window was amazing, because the houses are so close together and cause of how much more developed they are now, outside just looked like a city of lights..

the temperature ranges from i think 28-32 degrees all year round, with high humidity, but now that almost everyone has an air con, its not too bad. but cause the air con is so cold.. and the temperature outside is so hot, we ended up getting sick from all the changes.
my aunty said that the government has been continuously taking her land from her so now all the houses are smaller but built up higher. they've built more roads now because they have much more cars than they did before.
but the traffic here is crazy! everyone is everywhere! its so dangerous walking across the road because they just come at you..
the next place we went to was the country where warrens wife lives.
everywhere we drove there were cows everywhere! thats how u know its the country
but my uncle got us a beach resort there so we could enjoy the beaches Vietnam had to offer.
its really different here compared to Australia, an empty clean beach like this would've been swarmed with people with the sun blazing like that. but in Vietnam everyone swims when there's no sun. my uncle and our driver got up before 6am to have a swim in the water.
the water wasn't clear like our water, but it wasn't dirty neither, it just had a strong pigment of colour in it..
the next place we went to was my dads area, Hai Duong. the last time we were here it did not look as beautiful as it does now. they didnt have roads and they didnt have this garden.
My cousin said that they now pay people everyday to keep everything clean and pretty. but they only get about AU$100 a month.
my dad was shocked when he saw how beautiful his area is now
they took us to an area about an hour away to see the the lake where the cranes come to home to rest.
the sunset here was beautiful..
the next place we went to was Halong bay. we went during the voting time, they were deciding weather to make it one of the 7 wonders of the world.
we went on a boat around all the little islands n rocks. they said that it takes up to 4 days to actually see all of halong bay, but we were only there for 6 hours, we got to walk the mountains n into the caves.
there was also a nice beach there as well, but u had to pay to get into the beach.. lol
We also went to my mums area Hai Phong, but we didnt stay for long to take any pictures.
and the last place we visited was Ha Noi
this was the best place to take pictures, such a beautiful place to be at.
Anyways, i really need to get to work. first day back!! dont want to be late lol!!
