Quick blog about Gold coast!
IT WAS AMAZING!!!!! we did soooo much in 3 days! i couldnt believe it.
day one, landed at 7am in the morning, looked for our apartment and ended up bumming around with my boss at her apartment..
view from Q1 apartment.. i cant believe we didnt stay there.. we had a chance to and we didnt!!! im so cut!
the funny bathrooms they had.. we were in the bedroom and if u pull the curtain up then u can see the bathroom completely..
there is no privacy there.. so i dont know weather we'd like that.. then again, the place was sooo big u can get dressed anywhere.
and cause it was so big we were playing hide and seek with the kids, lana was in and she went looking for us.. she ran past matthew so many times and didnt realise he was just standing there.. in the middle of the room .. with his hands covering his eyes..and she didnt even notice........ LOL!! warren has a recording of it as well.
it took her so long to find us cause there was just so many places to hide.. unlike littlestar.. no where to hide there >=(
on the second turn, i was hiding under all the sofa pillows.. LOL! and they couldnt find me neither..
after playing, we went for a quick swim in the pool at the hotel.. and waited till my boss checked out. and left for home.
we then went to our apartment and died a little inside when we saw how little n crappy it was.. lol..
we then went out and explored surfers.
went to the haunted house
they had awesome masks there
and props..
warren, lana and jaz went into the haunted house thingo.. and said it was awesome.. but i think me and dave wouldve been wayy to scared to go in.. haha cause we're equally pussys..
but me and dave did end up going into a place called infinity with the others, it got a little ruined when we caught up to the people infront of us.. but other than that it was awesome! didnt last long enough tho :(
and we all got back around 8 and crashed.
the next day the boys got up early and went fishing, they saw dolphins, whales and all sorts of other fishes, and warren caught a shark.. the guy ended up killing it so they brought it home to eat.
they got back aruond 11 and we left for movieworld.
we went on practically every ride.. I LOVE ROLLER COASTERS!! omg
movie world was amazing, a movie themed theme park was such a great idea as well, there were people dressed up as characters and acting and singing.. it was such a great place.
when i took a picture with the Marylin Monroe, she called me back to ask about the dermal piercings on my back.. lol while everyone was waiting we were talking for about 5 mins..
same with the bugs bunny, he kept tapping me on the back and pointing at them lol..
we finished movieworld around 5 after me and lana spent so much money buying stuff..
we went to putt putt king to play a couple of games of mini golf :)
warren kept winning that day..
we then went home, me and lana went out to eat pancakes while the boys cooked the shark.
warren passed out straight away and left my brother to do all the work. after me and lana came back we played some card games till 2am.
day 3 was dreamworld.
after getting there we went on all the rides we could.
and visited the zoo
we after finishing all the rides we got to white water world and they told us we only had 15 mintues left.. (they shouldve told us eariler) but yeah.. 15 mins.. so we ran like crazy... and this isnt just like the sides where you just ran past some poles to get to the ride, you had to run up sooo many steps to get to the top.. to have a 2 second slide down..
so we ran up all the steps, and getting sore everywhere cause we had just eaten as well..
but you know, in 15 mintues.. we made it onto 4 rides... how awesome right??? i swear tho, the rush kept us going.. it was awesome..
after getting out of there we went on the last couple of rides we could before the parked closed and we had to leave for the bus..
when we got back i took some pictures and the boys got drunk.
it started raining when we left dreamworld, good timing seeing as we got back home in time..
there was so much lighting tho.. and after about 700 pictures.. i actually got myself a picture of lighting..
i wanted to keep going but my card was maxing out.. and the storm was calming down as well..
anyways. i took a picture of my back piercings cause i havent had a chance to show it off yet :)
finally able to use my studio flash for this, i wish i ironed my sheets tho lol!
anyways i need to sleep!!! busy busy weekend :) will try to blog as soon as im bothered.
