IMAT Sydney 2012

Last weekend was IMATS, which stands for the international make-up artist trade show, which is apparently the worlds biggest gathering for make up artists, sales rep, and enthusiast.
it features, stalls that sell all make up from all sorts of international brands, demonstrations of tools and products, talks, etc etc..

This was the first time i went to IMATS, only because i heard about it right after last years one.
Hairly bought me tickets and we went together :)
its so nice hanging out like that with hairly, we've had many night outings but never actually shopped together before.
i love this one!
when we left we ran into one of Gills friend and youtuber Meejmuse
i got all this for about $150
15 Glitter pots for $10!!!!!!!!!!!! sooooo cheap!!! cosmetic grade glitter too!!
eyelash curler $5, this one had no ends, so you are able to curl false eyelashes without it getting caught.
Stippling brush (can not remember the price, but it was pretty cheap)
and 2 eyeliner brushes $3 each

these were pretty crappy brushes. the eyeliner brushes were so weak..
 Paper eyelashes $20 for 3
 cute little matters on it
$8 each
Make up disinfectant, $6
Barrier spray, used to set make up and body paint to last longer $10?
Fresh scar, $7
activator, used to turn powder and/or glitter into eyeliner, $14 for 2
Smashbox Primer. $12
Inglot slim gel lipstick. i was actually annoyed with this one because they were so busy that they ended up selling me the wrong colour. i wanted this one in the picture, but they gave me a pink that i already have in another brand.
so i had to go all the way to bondi junction and exchange it. luckily there was a girl there was also working at the Inglot stall at IMATS. so it was good, she understood my pain.. =P

i got this lipstick for $19 RRP $27

i happened to walk past a book stall at IMATS and saw a women signing books.. i didnt actually know who she is, but i did pick up one of her books.. and it is quite informative!
it has easy step by step instructions and honestly makes more sense than watching Michelle Phan (no offense) just the way she does stuff.. it just doesnt work on my face :(

Book for $20, and she signed it for me :)

yummo
i thought i'd play around with the fresh scar i bought. looks more realistic than the paint i used last time.
the products used, knife to cut the latex, but that didnt work too well, so small scissors, tissues, Q-tips, cotton buds, liquid latex and black eye liner.
And my make up for the party after IMATS.
i used most of the products i bought from IMATS.
